Visitors are attracted to the southeast Jura mountain range for its sharp
reliefs, valleys & majestic gorges. With spectacular views and magical forests
it is a paradise for skiing, mountain biking, walking and hiking.
See fantastic lakes such as Bonlieu and Ilay plus the beautiful Herisson
falls.
To the north the terrain becomes gentler with meadows and vineyards.
Although not particularly well-known, the Jura produces some first-class AOC
wines. Its 'Vin Jaune' is a delight and a tour of the vineyards will show its
unique method of production.
